Me (Alexis, Karl’s manager) and Karl first met at Trident Bookseller & Coffee at Boulder, CO. We were friends and knew each other before we started collaborating together, because Karl showed me his art and I saw something in it.

He told me that he doesn’t know how to describe his art, and an artist would always be able to articulate why they created their art. I told him Banksy, one of the most accomplished street artist isn’t even known by people. His art appears randomly on the streets, and people just recognize it. I told Karl our goal is so his art make it to the contemporary museum one day. And that’s our North Star goal.
